I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been providing services to our Las Vegas community for 10 years. My primary focus has been treating individuals and families affected by trauma, victims of abuse and neglect, loss, attachment issues, self-harming behaviors, and depression and anxiety.
My focus is to help individuals and families heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I want to make therapy a place where you can go to feel better, to make yourself a priority, to help gain more self-awareness and confidence, and most importantly, to speak freely and not be judged with someone you trust that can help guide you through your journey of self-discovery and recovery.

Or maybe you've experienced a trauma and you need some guidance on how to manage and navigate those distressing feelings. It's time to make yourself a priority.
At some point in our lives we may experience fear, depression, and anxiety. These feelings can be uncomfortable, scary, or downright exhausting to manage on our own. With support and counseling, I can help give you the tools to manage those feelings and live a more fulfilling life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. I can help guide you through the process of grief and healing so that you can overcome these distressing feelings.
Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both couples and is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen their relationship.
Family therapy can also be highly beneficial for those families who have difficulty with communication and bonding within the family system. Having a safe, supportive environment can help families grow together in a healthy way.
This type of therapy is considered "talk therapy" and focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortions and behaviors, improving our moods through emotional regulation, and learning to develop personal coping techniques that aim to solve current conflict or problems.
DBT is an evidenced based psychotherapy that focuses on four main areas: interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance/reality acceptance skills, emotional regulation, and mindfulness. Utilizing these set of skills has been shown to work for a variety of mental health disorders.
EMDR is a non-traditional form of integrated psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma. EMDR therapy includes a set of standardized protocols and has been proven effective for treating trauma, but has also been shown to help with anxiety and fear, depression, grief and loss, phobias, OCD symptoms and many more.
I also specialize in ways to assist women and their families with infertility, pregnancy and infant loss, birth trauma, the transition to parenthood, and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. Because these are all real and serious afflictions. Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Mood Disorders (PMAD) refers to a group of mental health disorders that can occur during pregnancy or the postpartum period that includes:
Anxiety
Depression
Panic
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
1 in 7 mothers and 1 in 10 fathers will experience some form of PMAD during the birth of a new baby.
RATES:
Fees vary from $80 and up depending on the needs of the client and the time needed for treatment. I also offer bundle packages for multiple sessions purchased up front. I offer a sliding scale fee, depending on your situation. Please contact me to discuss your personal situation. I can assist with some Out-Of-Network reimbursements.
